With the help of many volunteers, we put on a powerful and thought-provoking Easter weekend production this Good Friday, April 18, 2025
"Before The Rooster Crows," a play by Pastor Kevin Garner. This special performance, delved into the heart-wrenching story of Peter’s denial of Jesus during the fateful hours leading to the crucifixion.
Set against the backdrop of that first Good Friday, the play follows Peter, the bold and outspoken disciple, as he grapples with fear, shame, and the crushing weight of his own betrayal. Through Peter’s journey, we witness the raw humanity of his failure—denying Jesus three times, just as Christ had foretold—only to be met with the piercing gaze of his Lord and the bitter tears of regret.
