Divorce Care

For those who have been or are going through a Divorce. Meets on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00. Registration is necessary to attend. Please e-mail Kathy at kburkhead@sbcglobal.net or call the church office for more information. See below for a promotional video.

There is also a Divorce Care for Kids (DivorceCare4Kids) group for ages 5-12 that will meet if there are enough participants. Contact the church office to sign up.

Local Outreach Ministries

-Vacation Bible School - This fun program is for the kids from pre-school through six grades and takes place for 5 nights during the summer. This years program is Bodyworks and runs from August 9th throguh the 13th.

-Radio Broadcasts - Pastor Kevin's sermons are broadcast on 3 local radio stations on Sunday Mornings, at 7:15 AM on WCMY 1430 AM in Ottawa, IL, 8:00 AM on WSPY 107.1 FM in Plano, IL and 10 AM on WJDK 95.7 FM in Morris, IL.

-Under His Wings - Fox River supports this ministry based in Morris, IL that gives support and shelter to unwed mothers.  

-Nursing Home and Shut-in visitation - Visitations to those who can't make it to the church.

-Sandwich Fair - Always the second Saturday in September from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM outside the Home Economics building.

-Uplifting Hands From The Heart - This group reaches out to families in the Sheridan area. They provide financial assitance, help with home repairs, and provide transportation. During the Christmas season, they also help prepare meals and distribute gifts to those in need.
